Verified by
Visaź
Verified by Visaź protects your existing Visa
card with a password you create, giving you reassurance that
only you can use your Visa card online. Visa has developed an
online security feature called Verified by Visa that works with
existing Visa cards. With Verified by Visa, consumers receive
added safety when shopping online. Additionally, participating
merchants receive added protection from fraudulent chargeback
activity.
MasterCard SecureCode
MasterCard SecureCode runs on your website and
interacts with both the customer and their card issuer.
When your customer is checking out, a simple pop-up box appears
asking them to enter a private code that has been registered
with their bank. Their bank then validates that code and
provides you with a means of achieving a fully guaranteed
transaction.

Visa Account Updater
Visa Account Updater is a service for merchants
that automatically updates their customers' Visa Card
information to reduce the possibility of decline messages or
payment delays from the bank. The service increases
customer retention by reducing disruptions of the payment
process that result from outdated information thereby increasing
approved transactions.

BIN Blocking
JetPay™
offers BIN blocking, a fraud prevention service that
automatically blocks settlement on selective transactions based
on BIN or country. Implementation of this feature decreases the
number of chargebacks in a merchant’s portfolio. Fewer
chargebacks strengthens the merchant’s relationship with Visa
and MasterCard and their merchant services provider.
Address
Verification Service (AVS)
JetPay™ develops business rules to accept,
reject, or review purchases based on Address Verification Service
(AVS) response results. This service is built into the payment
authorization process and is available in the US and UK.
AVS checks the numeric data in a street address and/or zip code
and compares this information with the record on file at the
cardholder's bank.

Card Verification Number (CVN)
The card verification number is the three or
four digit code printed on the back of most credit cards.
It is located on the front of American Express cards. The
cardholder is asked to report this number at the time of
purchase. This number is also known as CVC2, CVV2, and CID.
